IOSG Ventures  With & have spent Chainlink  Hand in hand & NBSP; The Layer2 global hackathon was successfully concluded in Shanghai on August 1st. There are 109 participants (including team registration) in this hackathon, among which 17 teams entered the final. Demoday attracted more than 100 guests, including well-known blockchain developers, investors and community fans from home and abroad. At the same time, we invited more than 10 heavyweight judges to provide participants with a multi-dimensional perspective and a more open and fair review.

The hackathon theme is based on different layers. After 48 hours of intense hacking and hacking, 17 teams submitted their works. After experiencing wonderful Demo and professional judges' questions and comments, a total of 9 teams won the treasure of navigation, becoming the most dazzling warriors in the era of Layer2 navigation. More than $110,000 was awarded.

Opening Speech

On July 29, the raiders of the age of great navigation officially opened the curtain, we see the activity site of those vibrant developers, they are young or mature, but all fighting spirit, passion surging. In the end, after an all-nighter of 48 hours, nine teams won the hackathon.

On July 30th, Philip, the head of Chainlink China, and Jocy Lin, the founding partner of IOSG Ventures, were invited to give a speech at the hackathon. Phillip thought that the industry needs excellent developers, and they are the most important part of the industry. Hopefully the industry will stay true to its roots and stick with it through the market cycle, and Chainlink will provide the infrastructure to fully support developers.

Jocy Lin, founding partner of IOSG Ventures, then extended his welcome and sincere thanks to the developers who came from all over the world, saying: IOSG is a community-friendly, developer-friendly crypto fund that will continue to support building the developer ecosystem and environment, build the IOSG Kickstarter brand, and help developers build their products, achieve their goals, and contribute to the industry as a whole.

Finally, the offline Workshop of the hacking began in turn, Daniel (Aurora), Nina (Arbitrum), Michael (Celer), Liu Jie (MCDEX), respectively to the developers about how to do development based on their projects, And give advice to developers based on their own experience, patiently answer developers' questions. For the hackathon, we invited (in alphabetical order) Jennifer (D1 Ventures). Liu Jie(MCDEX), Michael (Celer),  Mingda Lei (DODO),  Neo (SNZ), Paco (Perpetual Protocol),  Peter (Conflux),  Rin (Fenbushi Capital), Steve Guo (Looping)  Soros,  Wang Bing (Chainlink),  Weiyu Zhu (NGC Ventures), Yao Xiang (Yuanyuylinong), Yaoqi (Parity), Ye Zhang (Scroll),  Judges with technical and investment backgrounds such as John (Litentry) perform professional reviews.

Segments of competition

Since the start of the official competition on The 29th, the contestants have entered the intense development process. The two days and two nights of competition schedule was intense and substantial. Some teams stayed up all night to discuss product and development, while others stayed at the activity site from morning to night, asking questions from the mentors, which was rigorous and serious.

Finally, we had the Demo on 30th. After sorting out and screening the registration information, 17 teams entered the Demo. The Demo is divided into two parts. The first part is product introduction and the second part is questions. In the question and answer section, the judges asked professional questions about the products, and the contestants answered calmly. The judges also gave detailed comments and suggestions on each product.

The contestants finished their Demo and the judges entered the office. After intense discussion and voting, the winning team of the hackathon was finally determined.

Final list of winners

Thank you very much for your active participation. After two days and two nights of intense development and Demoday's fierce competition, we are proud to announce that the following teams have come out on top to share the huge prize pool over $110K. The team that won the first prize was the "Objk/ One Breath Full mind Team" DeFi project in Synthetix synthesis Asset Layer 2. ACY (L2 Arbitrage AMM) and Treasury Research (L2 data middle tier) won the second prize in L2 Hackathon. The third prize teams include: DeDrops(L2-based NFT casting platform), Zecrey(cross-L2 multi-chain solution Wallet), dTipBot (Aurora based red envelope distribution tool), FluidDAO(L2 Governance Infrastructure), in addition to Metaficate winning the Most Popular Community Award, Onepiece won the Most Promising Team award.

First Prize Team ($16,000) :& NBSP; Objk/ One Breath Team

Based on the two-layer DeFi project of Synthetix, Objk opens up the channels to process the data on the chain without trust, which is commonly faced by Synthetix users, and finally links the data back up so that users can realize the built-in debt pool rebalancing strategy in Synthetix.

Second prize team ($10,000) :& NBSP; ACY,  Treasury  research

ACY: Lightning arbitrage AMM Dex on Polygon. The protocol uses Chainlink as price input to help users find arbitrage opportunities and make profits while trading.

Treasury Research: A decentralized quantitative trading platform based on on-chain data aggregation and trusted computing design. Through The Graph, The Uniswap operation data of multi-chain (L1 and Optimism) is aggregated into usable quantization factor, and The quantization strategy is implemented to Chainlink prognostic machine's off-chain computing module, and The final transaction is completed by The MCDEX on Arbitrum.

Third prize team ($6,000) :& NBSP; DeDrops,  Zecrey,  dTipBot,  FluidDAO

DeDrops:  Decentralized airdrop platform that supports Layer2. NFT can be created based on the on-chain history of addresses, allowing rapid mass screening of target airdrop addresses.

Zecrey:  The general privacy protocol based on account model, with the underlying zK-Rollup technology, can bring stronger privacy protection for asset transactions. All funds in Zecrey are held by smart contracts on the main chain, while computing and storage are performed off-chain, and the security of user assets is guaranteed by zero-knowledge proof. Zecrey offers transaction privacy while significantly reducing fees and improving transaction performance.

dTipBot:  Based on Aurora, Polygon, Arbitrum platform Telegram red envelope distribution tool, can help the project side active community atmosphere and to the small white user distribution airdrop.

FluidDAO:  Decentralized governance solution based on L2(Polygon). Combining the SuperFluid service of Polygon with the prediction machine provided by ChainLink, we built an innovative DAO platform on L2(Polygon) with controllable "streaming votes" and "streaming fundraising" capabilities.

Most Popular Team ($3,000) :& NBSP; Metaficate

Metaficate: First on-chain certificate NFT system built for Metaverse. The ability to generate fully on-chain self-proving NFT as visual proof of decentralization in the metauniverse.
