Neon EVM created a compatibility layer for Ethereum on the Solana blockchain, allowing anyone to run an Ethereum contract on Solana. It works by bringing motivational Neon EVM operators to the Solana blockchain, which performs transactions on behalf of Ethereum dApp users. These operators receive etherium-like transactions from DAPPs using Neon EVM, then encapsulate them into Solana transactions and send them to the Solana blockchain for execution.
