Bonhams has partnered with digital art platform "SuperRare" to launch the world's first NFT art auction, "Cryptogs: The Originals of NFT Art", co-curated by digital art platform and auction house. The auction, which took place in a webauction format, offers the first art history look at a series of works by one of crypto art's earliest artists. The auction will be held on June 21 BBB 30 at Bonhams.com and will accept payment in Ethereum. The items will be displayed in the projected art space at London's New Bond Street headquarters from June 25 to 30.

"This is the first auction ever to focus on the pioneers of the crypto art movement," said Nima Sagharchi, head of the digital art department at Bonhams. "Long before NFT became a global focus, these artists were quietly making different works. We are working with SuperRare, one of the first platforms to promote digital art, to specialize in exclusive works that have long been recognized in the market, and Bonhams has always been happy to introduce collectors to unexplored parts of art history, and this is no exception. It is the first time in the market to appreciate and comb through the crypto art movement through the lens of art history, and it is of special significance."
