Etha Lend: A pioneer in cross chain revenue optimization from single chain to multi-chain

Read this article in 12 Minutes
When Defi is transitioning from single chain to multi-chain, are there any good financial optimizations that can help users to better aggregate revenue?

For the majority of users in the Defi space, participating in liquidity mining is arguably the most common way to make money.

However, the threshold for ordinary users to participate in mining is becoming higher and higher. Ethereum's high gas fees make it unprofitable for the vast majority of small and medium investors to participate in mining. The multiple pools of funds created by the different DEFI protocols further fragment liquidity, resulting in frequent user operations and increasing mining costs. In addition, the very different interaction logic and user interface between the different protocols make it difficult for many veteran Defi players to adapt.

All this makes it much more difficult for investors to participate in Defi's operations.

As a result, a number of revenue aggregation protocols have emerged in the Ethereum ecosystem to help investors solve these problems. The outstanding people in these projects also shine in the market by the wind of The Times.

As Defi's ecosystem thrives, Ethereum's congestion problem is becoming more and more intolerable, and the market is in desperate need of higher-throughput infrastructure. And the cross - chain field that is represented by wave card, also arouse people's attention gradually.

The opening of the cross-chain tide in 2021

With the Boca Parallel Chain Auction that will begin this year, the gradual transition of the underlying infrastructure of DEFI Ecology from single to multi-chain has been an increasingly recognized trend in the industry.

As we know, whenever an industry paradigm shifts due to changes in underlying logic, there will always be an emerging team keen to seize the opportunities of The Times, rise to defeat the original industry leaders, and achieve a leadership position in the new era at the turning point of industry change.

In the new multi-chain ecology, users also need trading platforms, lending, insurance, derivatives and other basic financial functions. The establishment of these new infrastructure will also bring more liquidity mining opportunities for DEFI investors.

So, in the coming multi-chain era, is it possible to create new leaders in revenue aggregation?

No one can definitively answer this question. However, Etha Lend has begun to venture boldly into the niche of cross-chain revenue optimization.

Overview of ETHA LEND features

Etha Lend is a revenue aggregation protocol based on an Ethereum deployment with plans to integrate Poca's cross-chain ecosystem. Etha Lend wants to provide users with a cleaner and easier to understand user interface that will help reduce the cost of capturing liquid mining revenues.

Of course, there is no shortage of products on the market for the simplest of functions, revenue aggregation. But as founder Chester Bella said in an interview:"The market right now does have a lot of revenue aggregators, but very few revenue optimizers, and that's what we're focusing on."

Algorithmic Asset Allocation

The ETHA LEND agreement no longer simply allocates user funds based on the project's point-in-time profitability. Instead, the agreement will take into account the latest gas fee, historical volatility, historical rate of return and the user's capital scale, and design the most favorable asset allocation scheme for the user through the calculation of intelligent algorithms. It also helps users reduce transaction costs by pooling more users' money, and solves the problem of liquidity fragmentation between different agreements.

In addition, the agreement also targeted optimization for the boka ecology. As we know, POS common chain based on POS consensus requires token pledge, so when users withdraw assets, they are often limited by the time of token unlocking. If the user's mining income can not be taken out and realized in time, the liquidity of the user's assets will be greatly affected. Unlike revenue aggregation agreements such as Yop. Finance, which require unlocking cycles, users can withdraw assets on Etha Lend without being limited by the lockdown time and receive immediate access to the revenue they earn on the platform.

Native Gas Token Integration

The current high cost of gas on Ethereum is an issue that needs to be addressed for users. Before capacity expansion solutions like Ethereum L2 were mature, the ETHA LEND protocol helped users better manage their Gas bills by natively integrating the Gas Token (CHI) mechanism. Ideally, users can save up to 52% of fees through the ETHA LEND agreement.

Maximum Interoperable Protocol

By deeply integrating with mainstream projects, the ETHA LEND protocol eliminates the need for users to learn the front-end interaction logic of different projects, and through a unified and simple user interface allows users to access the mainstream protocols in the market for operations such as liquidity mining or deposit and interest. At present, the project has successfully integrated Aave, Compound, dYdX and other ethereum ecological protocols, and will continue to integrate with the ethereum ecology with the landing of the parallel chain of poka.

Scrip economy

Etha Lend's token, Etha, went public in early March and was 500 times subscribed on IDO, an exchange such as Dodo. The total supply of the agreed tokens is 30,000,000, of which 25% will be used as eco-fund, 25% for liquid mining, 18% for private placement, 15% for development team, 10% for seed round financing, 5% as strategic reserve for shareholders and investors, and the remaining 2% for public sale.

According to the project party's plan, there will be subsequent activities such as fluid mining.

In addition, ETHA tokens can be pledged for a fee share of the project. Token holders can also vote to change key parameters in the agreement.

Product planning

Since the infrastructure of Poca Eco is still in the process of being built, the current status of the agreement can be summed up in one sentence on the official website: "Currently on Ethereum. Powered by Polkadot."

The protocol has been deployed on Ethereum and was completed by Certik at the end of MarchThe audit report. It also plans to begin integration with Boca Eco through Moonbeam Parallel Chain in the second quarter of this year. Subsequent agreements will also complete collaboration with Poka Ecology's Acala and Equilibrium and continue to integrate more mainstream agreements at the project level.

In addition, the project side plans to add insurance agreements and integrate functions such as credit entrustment in the third quarter of this year.

Defi offers cryptocurrency holders a chance to generate passive income, and the project, which raised $1.6 million earlier this year, makes it easier for new users to earn passive income. At the same time, the project is also actively laid out and prepared in advance for the benefit optimization of DEFI in the multi-chain era.

Of course, innovation often involves risk, and with Boca's key functional parallel chain not yet fully operational, ETHA Lend's future remains uncertain. Nevertheless, Etha Lend has made useful explorations in the area of cross-chain revenue optimization. We are looking forward to the day when the project actually goes live on the Boca mainnet.
