Celer Network

Celer Network is an Ethereum Layer 2 extended solution that supports not only payment transactions, but also generic off-chain smart contracts that enable fast, simple and secure off-chain transactions.

In February 2021, Celer Network released its latest solution: Layer2. Finance, which is dedicated to lowering the threshold of using DEFI, so that the public can freely and easily use the existing DEFI protocol to obtain high profits without worrying about high transaction fees.

Unlike most popular approaches, layer2.finance does not migrate the DeFi protocol itself to Layer2. In a nutshell, layer2.finance builds a model similar to decentralized mediation. The user stores funds on the layer-2 chain and, through a special layer-2 transaction, identifies which DeFi protocol they want their funds to be placed in.
