Grayscale CEO: Unregistered Nahmii (NII) trust fund product

Grayscale indicates that some Delaware registration information is inaccurate.

On April 8, Michael Sonnenshein, CEO of Grayscale, clarified on Twitter that Grayscale has not registered Nahmii (NII) Trust Fund products and that information reported by foreign media is inaccurate. In addition, Nahmii tweeted, "Nahmii has not discussed applying for a trust with Greyscale nor have we discussed how to create such a product."

As previously reported, Gray Grayscale registered a new NII Trust Fund product on April 1, according to the state of Delaware website. But Grayscale said the registration was false, and a customer service representative for the Delaware division said the division would not be able to share any identifying information about who submitted the trust. So, for now, it is still unclear who registered under the name of Grayscale. The registration information is still available on the Delaware registration website.
