JPMorgan (JPM) appears to be offering its clients a way to gain exposure to cryptocurrencies in the form of public company shares linked to digital assets, according to public SEC filings.

While the name refers to "Cryptocurrency Exposure Basket (March 2021)", the exposure provided by the product may not be directly linked to any specific cryptocurrency, including Bitcoin, the agency emphasized in its description of the document. According to the document, the product will be priced on March 26, with an original release date of "on or about March 31, 2021," with an observation date of May 2, 2022 and an expiration date of May 5, 2020.
The existence of structured products may be a sign that demand from Wall Street clients for crypto exposure of any kind, albeit indirectly.
