Fleek makes it easy to build and integrate privacy, encryption, and P2P capabilities into open Internet websites and applications.

Open Internet website and application hosting startup Fleek plans to move the 11,000 traditional and blockchain-based websites it supports to Dfinity's Internet machines, according to an official release from the platform on March 9. In addition, Fleek will extend its hosting service to Dfinity's Internet machines to ensure a faster, secure and scalable network speed experience for its users.

Fleek currently uses traditional blockchain solutions such as IPFS, Textile, Filecoin, and Ethereum to host these sites, providing services including hosting, storage, gateways, domain names, and databases.

Harrison Hines, co-founder and CEO of Fleek: "Most of the applications are in use on the etheric fang Fleek for hosting, and most of the NFT Fleek projects are used for storage. The open Internet infrastructure can make the enterprise to provide better services to customers, without having to worry about how to extend for the problem. Users only need to think about how to write the application logic and infrastructure outsourcing network, The Internet machine will really allow very large or infinitely scalable applications to be developed on the blockchain, which is great news for anyone looking to build a Web3 website or application."

DFINITY founder's chief scientist and Dominic Williams said: "the next generation of young developers and entrepreneurs will not build any web service on AWS. Because once they have found that create super scalable Internet service only need very little code, they will write good code and delivery directly to the public Internet. The Internet computer will allow Fleek hosting site by default directly for the user's browser to provide network speed and unlimited expansion of capacity."

Fleek, which has raised $4 million, can easily build and integrate privacy, encryption, and P2P capabilities into open Internet websites and applications. In addition, Fleek is helping sites built on older Web 2.0 stacks make a seamless transition to Web 3.0 and participate in the emerging open Internet boom.
