IrisNet has completed the mainnet 1.0 upgrade and has established an IBC client with Cosmos Hub
On February 25th, Irisnet announced the completion of mainnet startup for V1.0 upgrade and the establishment of IBC connection with Cosmos Hub. The upgrade includes core capabilities such as cross-chain communication protocol IBC, CoinsWAP (AMM), enhanced iService, and NFT.
After the upgrade, Iris Hub is the second network after Cosmos Ecosmos Hub with inter-chain interoperability via the cross-chain IBC protocol, marking the "Kuafu" phase of the white paper. Iris Hub 1.0 is also the first mainnet to have an IBC connection to the Cosmos Hub.
Next, Iris Hub v1.0 will enable cross-chain transfer with Cosmos Hub depending on its governance; Started ecological cooperation and operation of Coinswap (AMM), NFT and other application functions; It will also continue to develop and bring online the Ethereum Bridging and CosmWASM capabilities to further realize the vision of IRISNET as a cross-chain service infrastructure and protocol for building trusted distributed business applications.
