Beeple Brings the NFT Revolution to Christie's

The art of the future will be empowered by NFT.
That is why auction houses and museums may one day deal with NFT as regularly as they have with physical works in the past. These digital assets are bound to become the new normal, though it will be a slow process.
While we are still some way away from this "future," we are already beginning to see the infinite possibilities that lead to it. A number of well-known artists have already demonstrated the potential of NFT, such as Beeple who will be auctioning his NFT at Christie's in a few days.
This is a big step forward for both Beeple and crypto art, and it proves that NFT will continue to grow at breakneck speed, and this time the art world can't take its eyes off it.
Beeple, the creator of the 'Everydays' art movement, will sell his NFT at Christie's, one of the world's leading auction houses, to mark 5,000 consecutive days of art, one painting a day.

Beeple was already a well-known and accomplished artist before he entered the NFT space, so his first NFT release on the Nifty Gateway in 2020 was a huge hit and set him up as a deity in crypto art. And he has proved that artists can sell their work for a lot of money through NFT in a new way.
So Beeple has taken on the digital asset banner and will showcase their bright future to the mainstream with the NFT auction at Christie's, the world's leading art auction house. This is the beginning of the NFT revolution!

Entitled Everydays - The First 5,000 Days, THE work is a collage of pieces Beeple has created every day for THE past 13 years. The auction of the work will be in partnership with crypto art platform MakersPlace, and Beeple credits the MakersPlace team with making it possible.

Noah Davis, Christie's specialist in contemporary art in New York, praised the historic nature of the sale.
"Christie's has never been introduced on such a scale or the importance of new media art. Buy Beeple work is a unique opportunity, can have one of the world's leading digital artists work and join the chain block areas [...] we use to replace the unknown value 】 【 we typical [valuation shall require]. We use this works opened such a new situation, and the rest of us, you are optimistic."
While Christie's has had one or two blockchain themed auctions before, Beeple's February 25 solstice sale, which goes live on March 11, will be the auction house's most high-profile NFT sale to date and will make the mainstream art community pay more attention to NFT.
Recently, the resale of Beeple's works on the secondary market is also in full swing. For example, we recently saw a Beeple package sell for over $500,000 on OpenSea, and some of The First Drop sold for $1 on The Nifty Gateway for $80,000 to $100,000.

So where does this leave us?
Beeple achieved incredible success, and one of the most important components of his artistic career was NFT. This Christie's sale will be historic and will bring a lot of people from the mainstream to the NFT and become a new wave of NFT collectors. Finally, a creative revolution is clearly needed and a new wave is on the way!
