BlockBeats, Gary, the former core developer of Privacy Project Grin, recently told the forum that he borrowed one of his Grin Asic mining machines and ran tests on it. Three blocks were dug out in less than 24 hours.

Gary described the appearance of the mining machine, similar to other Asic mining machines. The size of the Grin mining machine is about 44cm x20cm x35cm, and the box weighs about 20kg. Gary connected the mining machine to a grin node to try to dig the ore. Less than 24 hours later, he dug out 3 blocks (819660,820461,820801) and got a total of 180 grin rewards for each block. But Because the cooling fan is not adjusted to its maximum size to control noise at home, he said, mining machines may be more efficient.
From the data point of view, this ASIC mining machine supports C31 and C32 algorithms (during the hard bifurcation upgrade in July, the Grin 29 algorithm was upgraded from Cuckaroom to Cuckarooz, and some old versions of mining software will no longer support Grin 29 mining). At present, the computing power of algorithm AT31 is 14833 Gps, and that of algorithm AR29 is 7545 Gps.
