Blockbeats -- On August 4, the Ocean Protocol, a decentralized data-sharing Protocol, announced that it will be exchanging tokens on August 21. The swap will activate the upcoming V3 version, which includes incentives, pledges and other functions, as well as the V4 version for community financing.
Once the conversion commences, all OCEAN scrip balances in the current contract will automatically be transferred to the new contract. For holders holding more than 8,000 scrips, no action is required and the conversion will automatically take place; If you place tokens on Bittrex Global, KuCoin, Gate, or VCC, the platform will also facilitate the exchange. If you place tokens in a Trezor, Ledger, Trust Wallet, etc., there is no need to do anything.
However, if you inject OCEAN into a liquidity pool, such as Uniswap or Balancer, you must replace the currency by August 21, 2020, which you can re-inject into the liquidity pool upon completion of the exchange; And if you have tokens on the main network, be sure to withdraw them before August 21.
Notably, the current supply of about 350 million OCEAN scrip will remain unchanged.
