"Spachispanic" has been submitted to Reddit for an extensibility plan for ethereal Two-storey Network

Blockbeats rhythmic, recently, multiple teams have submitted the ethereum extensibility solution Reddit is publicly seeking. On August 1, A new function "Spacefold" was announced by Connext, the Ethereum two-storey network, which was proposed by the team in Reddit's scalability challenge. This feature, a UI design at the top of the Connext node, demonstrates the ability to use state channels for instant cross-chain communication.

Spacefold is the first experiment to explore the assemblability of Layer 2. It can "fold" into the Efang Layer 2 solution, such as xDai, mined, Matic and the forthcoming SKALE and Arbitrum. Connext says that the design is a small, programmable peer-to-peer payments network, but that it doesn't fit well with some of the general computing activities that Reddit wants to expand, especially minting and burning. Because of the way the state channel works, the balance within Connext must be private to each user, so the team decided to work with the existing Layer 2. Using Connext, users do not need to know which chain or shard they are on to complete the transfer of funds, or even automatically invoke contracts across the chain completely and seamlessly.

The team argues that while the Layer 2 solution is usually competitive, it is actually combinable and that when combined they can create a more powerful ecosystem than the combined value of their parts. "Spacefold is our first attempt to enter the L2 combinability area."

As previously reported, Connext is a new way of developing blockchain applications based on the Counterfactual framework, which makes the channel as modular as possible and minimizes transactions on the chain. Between the initial recharge and the final withdrawal, other operations do not need to rely on transactions on the chain. In addition, Connext expands on (and then adds to) an unmanaged middle man role in Counterfactual, so that instead of having to create separate multi-signature contracts with each third-party application, multiple applications can interact with one multi-signature. & have spent
