The first batch of YFI tokens has been distributed, and the community is discussing the quantity of a new round of token issuance

律动BlockBeats 消息，DeFi 聚合收益协议 yearn.finance 7 月 26 日晚间发布推特宣布首批 YFI 已经分发完毕，且此前的 10 号提案通过，  YIP 10 治理提案希望可以将投票权逐步过渡到仅 YFI 代币可参与治理（此前 Balancer 中 yCRV 以及 BPT 的代币也可参与投票治理）。提案通过后，意味着 YFI 持币用户拥有唯一的投票治理权。

The team did not respond to questions about whether proposition 8 would be implemented. The community is currently debating how much YFI will issue, and there have been multiple votes on how many tokens to issue. The current proposal with high acceptance is to adopt the expansion plan of 50,000 YFI models and set the total ceiling of YFI in 10 years to 50,000 YFI tokens. Of these, 75% YFIs were distributed to liquidity providers and 25% to the Multisig community, i.e. 15,000 YFIs to liquidity providers and 5,000 YFIs to Multisig. So far, 68% of the community members who participated in the discussion agreed with the proposal (the discussion vote is not a proposal vote, but only a suggestion from the community users).

In addition, some community members think it is more reasonable to issue 12,000 YFI tokens, increase the total number of TOKENS of YFI to 42,000, and extend the distribution time to 3 years (this discussion vote has no actual effect, and only represents individual Suggestions of community users). As of press time, Yearn Finance has not launched a vote on the number of rights issues and the community is still debating them.

Proposal 8 by Yearn Finance aims to halve the distribution of YFI rewards to three pools of capital, According to a report by Move. For example, in The first week after the proposal is passed, the amount of reward can be allocated to 100 million YFIs; in the second week, it will be halved to 5, 000 YFIs; in the third week, it will be halved again to 2, 500 YFIs. And so on until the reward is allocated. According to the final voting results, 80.26% of the participating voters agreed to adopt the halving method as the distribution mechanism of the liquidity mining incentive.
