The Fan token BAR, launched by Chiliz and Fc Barcelona, will go on sale on 22 June

Blockchain financial platform Chiliz and The Spanish football giant F.C. Barcelona have teamed up to launch Barcelona's new fan token BAR, according to Rhythblockbeats.

The token will be published at Chiliz.net and Socios.com. The fan token sale (FTO) will start at 19:00 Beijing time on June 22 and last for 48 hours. Tokens will be sold at a fixed price of 2 euros on a first-come-first-served basis. Upon completion of FTO, there will be usd 1 million BAR in circulation.

This is the first time that FTO has been conducted on the Chiliz trading platform. The launch of the cryptocurrency is a major success for the club. Barcelona is estimated to have about 360 million fans worldwide.Other fan tokens listed on the Chiliz exchange include Juventus (JUV), Galatasaray (GAL), Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and e-sports club OG (OG).
