River Financial, the custodian of bitcoin exchanges, has raised $5.7 million ina seed round, BlockBeats reported. Investors included seven institutions, including Polychain Capital, Slow Ventures, Island Ventures and DG Lab Fund, as well as several individual investors, including Square Crypto's product manager Steve Lee and Lightning Lab CEO Elizabeth Stark.

RIver Financial, a Bitcoin broker for the wealthy, aims to become the preferred entry bank for the wealthy to invest in bitcoin. The company said its average monthly trading volume was up 80 per cent. (The Block)
