According to BlockBeats, CEO Zhao Changpeng (CZ) posted an internal letter on June 16 slamming unnamed Chinese competitors, accusing them of "trying to attack" The platform.
The letter, which is understood to have been written in Both Chinese and English, began by saying that Coen's Chinese rivals were "desperately trying to attack us in unprofessional ways". The CZ accused rivals of launching distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks on COcoin's systems, inciting fake COcoin users to protest against trading platforms, spreading "fake news" about cocoin and organizing people to report cocoin to local police stations.
In its report to employees, CZ suggested that competitors may have attacked THE company because they wrongly believed it did not have "strong [government] ties" in China. Both are wrong. We never attack others actively, but we absolutely defend ourselves, including defensively."
