Abnormal fluctuations in the number of DAI and ETH locks in DeFi lending protocol Aave

The number of DAI locked up in DeFi loan agreement Aave jumped 86 per cent overnight on June 8, from 2.09 million to more than 4 million, according to DeFi Pulse data. Subsequently, on June 9, the number of DAI locked in Aave fell sharply again to 1.61 million, a reduction of more than 60%. In addition, the number of locked ETH in Aave surged from 33,250 in the early hours of June 9 to the current 36,593, adding about 3,343 within hours.
