Topaz, the first test network with the Eth2.0 phase 0 main network configuration, has been released

BlockBeats news, ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin also Shared on Twitter the latest news on Topaz, the first test site with an Eth2.0 master configuration. Vitalik says that the test network "may not be a multi-client test network yet," because it will probably be a reboot or two soon to give you more opportunities to test the creation mechanism.

The goal in the previous Sapphire test network was to reach the primary network size, but to use the smaller 3.2 ETH as collateral for deposits. Topaz test is now accepting genesis mortgage deposits. Tomorrow, Prysmatic Labs will begin shutting down Sapphire verifiers and sending new genesis deposits. If you want to be a genesis validator, send your mortgage deposit before April 16, 2020 at UTC 00:00, when Prysmatic will start sending deposits in large Numbers to launch the Topaz test network.
