Coindesk (Coindesk)reportsBlockstream, a bitcoin startup, launched Liquid Securities, the first product on its side chain Liquid. Its side chain Liquid is a network tied to the bitcoin blockchain, with faster bitcoin transfer speeds and better built-in privacy.

Liquid Securities is a security-based token platform that allows users to issue and manage security-based tokens on the Liquid network. "Companies around the world are racing to take advantage of the scrip of securities," CSO Samson Mow of Blockstream said in a statement.
