Bancor traded more than 10,000, more than 140 tokens online

Blockbeats: Bancor announced on May 6 that it has launched the Bancor network with 140+ tokens, creating 10,000 + trading pairs.

Zug, a Swiss company, is focusing on developing a "smart token creation protocol" that can be traded on a decentralized exchange (DEX). Some of Bancor's key updates this year include building a "single interface" for the platform, compatible with ethereum and EOS networks. The common interface is accessible through Bancor's unified wallet, which allows users to switch between tokens on different blockchains. Other important upgrades include "functionality added to Bancor's Web application" with advanced token analysis tools, support for ledger hardware wallets, and free EOS accounts.

According to Bancor's official blog post, the protocol developers have managed to attract more than 1,500 new users from their community "pilot currency" program, Sarafu Network, in Kenya. According to the report, the project "reached 70% utilization in the target village". Customers of the Bancor network can also use TREZOR hardware wallets to store their tokens and also support MetaMask(a decentralized ethereum-based application, or dApps, that allows users to run directly from a web browser without downloading the full node).

Bancor's latest update also includes an updated token page that includes an "interactive price history chart." These are currently displayed in ether currency (ETH), us dollars and euros. In addition, the new feature allows users to access "enhanced portfolio management" tools with options to "filter tokens through blockchain" and view token account balances.
