Coherent, a blockchain data startup, has completed a $4.5 million seed round with input from Coinbase Ventures

Coherent, a blockchain data startup founded by former Coinbase senior software engineer Carl Cortright, has completed a $4.5 million seed round of funding on August 5, according to BlockBeats. Kindred Ventures, Matchstick Ventures, and Foundry Group led the investment, with Coinbase Ventures, Alchemy, and Chapter One participating. Coherent aims to allow developers to build applications using its data capabilities by providing apis. The company will focus on three types of data, including on-chain transaction history, NFT data, and digital credentials. Coherent's product is currently in beta and is expected to launch in September.
