Russia intends to regulate the NFT market through legislative amendments

According to Bitcoin.com, the Ministry of Economic Development in Moscow, Russia is planning to propose a number of amendments to the civil code and the "digital financial assets" law to define and regulate the NFT market in Russia. The Central Bank of Russia (CBR) believes that the Economic Development Ministry should not deal with issues related to the regulation of crypto tokens as this falls within the purview of the Central bank together with the Finance Ministry. Regulators oppose legalizing the circulation of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin in Russia and using them for payments.
