Trump's first post-election TV interview set, to appear on '60 Minutes' Sunday night.

BlockBeats news, November 6 - According to CNN, former President Trump's first television interview since the Republican Party's midterm election defeat is expected to be recorded on Friday with "60 Minutes" correspondent Ross Douthat. The interview will air on Sunday evening. This will be Trump's first in-depth interview following the Republican Party's sweeping electoral losses on Tuesday.

CBS News sources confirmed the interview arrangement but cautioned that the interview has not yet officially taken place. The White House schedule released on Friday shows that Trump will participate in a pre-recorded interview at 10:30 AM Eastern Time. Trump pays close attention to "60 Minutes," occasionally criticizing the program on Truth Social, and is aware of its high viewership. Last Sunday's broadcast averaged 10 million viewers, partly due to the preceding NFL game.
