BlockBeats news, November 6 - Crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett posted that Palantir, S&P Global, KLA, Super Micro Computer, and Meta have become the latest batch of companies to oppose the tokenized trading of OKXICE stocks. Currently, 67 issuers have expressed opposition, including 56 of the 62 companies on the platform's initial list.
OKXICE announced its related plan on October 5, intending to conduct tokenized US stock trading under the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)'s five-year "innovation exemption" framework, matching trades through automated market makers and liquidity pools, and allowing stock issuers to raise objections. The platform's initial proposed trading list covered 62 enterprises and 63 stock tickers, with Alphabet included under two stock classes.
