Trump cancels public events after midterm election losses, White House schedule reduced to closed-door meetings only.

BlockBeats news, November 4 - According to WSJ, the White House schedule shows that U.S. President Trump has no public events scheduled for Wednesday. Following the Republican Party's sweeping defeat in the midterm elections, his White House schedule for the day includes only closed-door policy meetings.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Trump acknowledged that the Iran war was one of the reasons for the Republican electoral defeat, but insisted he does not regret launching the conflict.
