Justin Sun demands WLFI pay over $260,000 in sanctions fees, alleging concealment of UAE shareholder information.

BlockBeats news, November 4: Tron founder Justin Sun has filed a motion with a U.S. federal court seeking $263,821.20 in sanctions against Trump family-linked crypto project World Liberty Financial (WLFI) and its lawyers, accusing them of submitting misleading disclosure documents in litigation over his $45 million WLFI investment and concealing UAE-linked parties in the company's ownership chain.

Justin Sun and two co-plaintiffs allege that WLFI initially listed only Florida as its domicile in court filings and amended its disclosure nearly three months later to list 22 individuals and entities in the ownership chain, including UAE-related parties. WLFI subsequently argued that the federal court lacks jurisdiction on the grounds that the company has UAE ties.

Justin Sun said that after the sanctions motion is resolved, he plans to refile the lawsuit in California state court. A related hearing is scheduled for December 10. The two sides have already sued each other over the freezing of Sun Yuchen's tokens; Sun Yuchen sued WLFI in April, and WLFI countersued in May on defamation grounds.
