BlockBeats news, November 4th, according to CBS News, U.S. President Trump congratulated the Democrats on their midterm election victories. Trump said, "Congratulations to the Democrats. I look forward to working with you for the good of our country."
Trump also said, "I know many Democrats, and I have the absolute right to veto. I believe we can find solutions to problems. I think they will want to work with me, otherwise I will veto everything, and they won't want that." When explaining the reasons for Republican candidates' losses, Trump added, "In some cases, voters didn't like those candidates; in other cases, those candidates were not my friends, and the Republican base knew that better than anyone. Therefore, they did not actively participate in voting. If I were on the ballot, we would have won easily, which is regrettable. But I did not run."
When asked if he felt frustrated about this, Trump said he had "done his best" and stated he had "gone all out." Additionally, Trump also talked about the Iran war, saying the war would "end when I say it ends."
