BlockBeats news, November 2 - According to The Jerusalem Post, if Trump requests the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to participate in U.S. Air Force military operations against Iran after the U.S. midterm elections on November 3, the Israeli military is prepared to strike, but the situation remains shrouded in many uncertainties.
Trump had previously withdrawn threats of launching attacks on Iran in August, early October, and at other multiple points this year, but now the possibility of an attack is rising again, partly because various parties have attempted to secure concessions from Iran through other channels, and some members of Trump's team are shifting back to supporting military strikes. Over the past week, more than 10 U.S. military transport aircraft arrived at Nevatim Airbase and Ovda Airbase in southern Israel, seemingly in preparation for a major military operation.
Other reports indicate that the United States is deploying air defense systems and interceptors to Israel and other Arab allies. However, U.S. forces in the region are still fewer than the deployment scale during some previous periods. But this may only be the beginning of the deployment. The United States and Israel still have differences over the specific objectives of such military operations.
