BlockBeats news, October 30 - Arbitrum officially announced that the Security Council has taken emergency action to transfer approximately 74,559,805 ARB and 8,425 ETH from addresses associated with the Binance attack on Arbitrum One to a secure location. After technical assessment, the Security Council completed the transfer in a manner that did not alter the state of the rest of the chain or affect other users. As of October 30, the funds have been moved to an intermediate frozen wallet, and the original addresses can no longer access them. Further disposition can only be carried out by the Security Council or decided through Arbitrum DAO governance voting, and will be coordinated with relevant parties.
