BlockBeats news, October 29 - Microsoft launched a 10-tranche USD high-grade bond issuance, the first since 2017.
According to data from the BIT stock platform, Microsoft's pre-market gain narrowed to 1.3%, after previously rising over 4%.
BlockBeats note: Microsoft has initiated a bond issuance consisting of 10 tranches in the USD investment-grade (high-grade) bond market, with broad use of proceeds including capital expenditures, buybacks, mergers and acquisitions, or refinancing. The company has ample cash but still chooses to issue debt, primarily to support large-scale capital investment in AI and cloud businesses while maintaining financial flexibility.
