AI training environment company Plato announces completion of $16 million Series A funding, led by Nava Ventures.

BlockBeats news, October 28 - AI training environment company Plato announced the completion of a $16 million Series A funding round, led by Nava Ventures, with participation from Gradient Ventures, Transpose Platform, and Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman. Freddie Martignetti, founder of Nava Ventures, will join the board of directors. Following this round, Plato's cumulative funding has reached $19 million, with the previous seed round led by Gradient Ventures.

Founded in 2025 and headquartered in San Francisco, Plato builds resettable and reusable simulated work environments for AI labs, covering roles such as customer support, HR operations, finance, accounting, and medical administration, for reinforcement learning training and model evaluation, to avoid real-world consequences from training models in actual systems.
