Coinbase denies data breach: It was actually third-party analytics provider Amplitude that suffered a security incident.

BlockBeats news, October 28: Coinbase responded to market rumors regarding a data breach, stating that the company itself did not experience a data breach. Instead, a security incident occurred at third-party analytics provider Amplitude, affecting the contact information of some Coinbase customers and data of other Amplitude clients. Coinbase stated that no evidence of unauthorized access to its internal systems has been found, and customer funds have not been affected. The company will notify affected customers and relevant regulators as required by law.
