BlockBeats news, October 23 - According to official sources, the dYdX Treasury SubDAO has increased its delegated stake to 100.76 million DYDX, incorporating repurchased tokens into delegation for the first time. The dYdX Treasury SubDAO released the results of its seventh periodic review of the staking program, stating that this round adjusted the delegation allocation of 25,873,915 DYDX through a total of 25 transactions.
Among these, 10,719,308 DYDX purchased through the buyback program were included in delegation for the first time, increasing the Treasury SubDAO's total delegated stake from 90,041,355 to 100,760,663 DYDX. This adjustment also included reallocation of existing delegations.
Previously, as the active validator set was reduced from 31 to 21 on September 17, approximately 8.34 million DYDX had been delegated to validators outside the active set and could not earn rewards. The Treasury SubDAO therefore reconfigured the relevant stakes and increased consideration for validators' governance participation; validators that have recently not participated in or abstained from governance votes will receive fewer new delegations.
