CoinDCX responds: User funds are safe; recent controversial transactions involve deprecated old wallet addresses.

BlockBeats news, October 22: Indian crypto trading platform CoinDCX stated in a post that recent claims on X platform regarding certain wallet addresses and transactions are misleading; user funds are safe, and the platform's trading and investment operations are proceeding as normal.

CoinDCX stated that the relevant transactions involve old wallet addresses created in January 2025, which were compromised in July 2025 and have not been used by the platform since. The on-chain activity currently under discussion is all related to these old addresses and is unrelated to CoinDCX's current operations.

In the early hours of yesterday, CoinDCX hot wallets and multiple deposit addresses transferred approximately 15.99 million USDT and 5,783.81 TRX to a certain TRON address. The largest single transaction was 15.819002 million USDT. The address then split the funds and transferred them out multiple times, flowing to deposit addresses on trading platforms including Binance, OKX, and Gate.
