BlockBeats news, October 22 — Amid strong risk-aversion sentiment, the Nikkei 225 index fell 2.65%, closing at 62,907.84 points, the lowest close since July 30.
Analysts at InTouch Capital Markets said: "Investors are beginning to question whether the latest round of AI corporate earnings is sufficient to justify current elevated valuations, and the rationale for companies' continued large-scale investment in computing infrastructure."
The analysts added that "renewed geopolitical concerns have further intensified the pressure on a market environment sensitive to economic growth." (Jinshi)
