Beating AI News Flash: ego (lite), a browser dedicated to AI Agents, has officially launched its Windows beta version, having previously only supported macOS.
Users can use the `ego-browser` Skill to let existing Agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor directly operate the browser.
ego (lite) is built on Chromium and supports one-click import of Chrome bookmarks, extensions, cookies, and login states. Agents can directly operate websites that are already logged in, such as Gmail, X, and enterprise backends, to complete information collection, form filling, and web testing.
Each Agent has an independent Space workspace and can execute multiple tasks simultaneously without seizing the tabs the user is currently using. When encountering steps such as CAPTCHAs or payments, users can take over at any time.
It has also revamped the way Agents read and operate web pages. The browser directly generates a streamlined page structure, marking out elements such as buttons and input fields, avoiding stuffing the entire page HTML into the model. Agents can write multiple operations into a single JavaScript snippet for continuous execution, reducing tool calls and Token consumption.
