ENS DAO launches on-chain vote for ENSv2 mainnet activation proposal.

BlockBeats news, October 19 - According to Snapshot data, ENS DAO has initiated an on-chain vote on a proposal to activate ENSv2 on the Ethereum mainnet. The vote will end on October 25 at 13:32.

As of press time, 6 wallets have cast 531,252 ENS tokens, with approximately 100% in favor, but the quorum has not yet been reached. The proposal contains 15 operations that will be executed all at once by the DAO-controlled execution contract; if any single operation fails, none will take effect. The previously approved pricing scheme will take effect upon execution of the proposal, and the same applies to renewals of unmigrated domains. Some voters have objected to the annual fee for domains of 5 characters or more being raised from $5 to $8.
