Lily Liu responds to 'Solana Shanghai event': Registration was too hot, leading to an excess number of attendees; the event will be postponed to allow for adequate preparations.

BlockBeats news, October 16: Solana Foundation Chair Lily Liu posted that displaying Solana on a large screen (referring to the light show on the entire exterior wall of the Citigroup Building in Lujiazui, Shanghai, China, on the evening of October 14) is because Solana holds deep affection for the Chinese community and is also a reflection of its profound gratitude for the warm welcome given by the Chinese community.

Due to the publicity, registrations for the "Solana Shanghai Event" quadrupled overnight, far exceeding the upper limit of the number of people reported to local government departments, and officials were also unable to prevent people from excessively flooding into the event venue. Therefore, in order to comply with local requirements, this event will be postponed until it can better accommodate the breadth and scale of the community. Apologies to all friends who came from near and far and wanted to participate in the Shanghai Solana event.
