Binance will support the merger of VELODROME into AERO and complete the AERO contract swap.

BlockBeats news, October 16: Binance will support the merger of Velodrome Finance (VELODROME) tokens into Aerodrome (AERO) and the AERO contract swap, with an exchange ratio of 1 VELODROME = 0.044 AERO.

On November 3 at 03:00 (UTC), Binance will delist the VELODROME/USDT spot trading pair and cancel all open orders; starting at 03:30 (UTC), deposits and withdrawals for VELODROME and AERO will be suspended. After the event is completed, VELODROME will no longer be supported, and the opening time for AERO deposits and withdrawals will be announced separately. Regarding futures, starting October 28 at 08:30 (UTC), opening new positions will be prohibited; at 09:00 (UTC), positions will be automatically closed and settled, and the VELODROMEUSDT contract will be delisted.

This merger will bring tokenomics changes: AERO's total supply will increase from 2 billion to 2.12 billion, and its circulating supply will increase from 1 billion to 1.07 billion.
