BlockBeats news, October 15th, according to TradingBeats monitoring, SKHX on Hyperliquid fell nearly 15% in the past 24 hours, temporarily reported at $939.46, down about 12.88% from when CPI was released last night.
Amid the sharp drop, large long positions have successively suffered losses and exited. From last night to this morning, 3 whales have been verified to have closed a total of about $3.881 million in SKHX long positions, realizing a combined loss of about $887,000, involving active stop-losses and liquidations.
Among them, one whale cleared about $1.493 million in long positions, realizing a loss of about $347,000 (0xcb13); another long position, although actively reducing its position at a loss, ultimately had its remaining position forcibly liquidated, with a cumulative loss of about $261,000 in this round (0x5fc2). The latter whale's long position of about $1.008 million was also liquidated in batches, resulting in another loss of about $279,000 (0x3b5b). All three accounts currently have no SKHX holdings.
However, after the crash was accompanied by funding rates turning negative, bottom-fishing funds have now poured in again. SKHX's hourly funding rate turned from -0.08399% at 08:00 to +0.03080% at 09:00, and further rose to +0.03550% at 10:00, with the contract long-short pricing relationship undergoing a rapid reversal.
The risk of long liquidations has still not been lifted. According to liquidation distribution data, around $5.09 million in potential long liquidation exposure is clustered near $888 below SKHX, about 5.5% away from the current price. If the price continues to decline, this area may become a key observation point for the next round of passive exits by leveraged longs.
