Analyst: Market indices indicate that crypto trading activity has not yet clearly rebounded, with Bitcoin stuck in a compression range awaiting direction.

BlockBeats news, October 14: Crypto market analyst Axel Adler Jr posted on social media that Bitcoin's recent price fluctuations have been limited, reflecting that market activity volatility and the capital flow index remain below the average level of the past year, indicating that trading activity has not yet clearly recovered. The index combines price volatility, exchange inflow-outflow ratio, and active buy-sell ratio; its 30-day moving average fell below the one-year average on September 12 and touched a low on October 6. The index currently stands at 1,768 points, below the one-year average of 1,828 points.

The analyst said that given the large fluctuations in single-day readings, the 30-day moving average is more meaningful for reference. As long as this indicator remains below the one-year average, the market will remain in a low-activity state, consistent with Bitcoin's recent narrow-range consolidation. If the index rises back above the one-year average, it may mean that trading activity is beginning to recover; whether the price can break through the Bollinger Bands will confirm the subsequent direction.

From October 6 to 13, the Bollinger Band width narrowed from 11.6% of the average price to 4.9%, while Bitcoin fell from $85,800 to $83,200 during the same period, with little change in recent days. The upper edge of the current range is at $86,000, and the lower edge is about $81,900. The analyst believes that if the price holds above $86,000, it will release an upward signal; if it breaks below and remains under $81,900, it may confirm a downward trend.
