Zhipu's stock price hits a new low since March this year, down nearly 20% from its September placement price.

BlockBeats news, October 14 - According to Bitget market data, Hong Kong-listed Zhipu has been on a continuous decline recently, dropping 1.83% during today's trading session, now reported at HK$590, with the stock price hitting a new low since March this year.

On the news front, on October 8, Anthropic released its new model Claude Haiku 5.5, and market analysts say the model poses a "kill line"-like competitive pressure on domestic low-cost models.

Additionally, on September 11 this year, Zhipu launched approximately $2 billion in new share placement in Hong Kong, while simultaneously issuing about $3 billion in convertible bonds. The company placed 21.97 million new shares at HK$714 per share, and the current market price has fallen nearly 20% from the placement price at that time.
