Tencent Enters the Personal Agent Product Arena, Yuanbao Assistant to Launch Standalone App

The new product will have an operating space and permissions independent of the main Yuanbao app, with a focus on supporting long-term memory and continuous task execution. Users can hand off matters that require long-term follow-up to the AI without having to restart the conversation each time.

Multiple business divisions within Tencent are also developing personal AI agent-related features, including its social business. Recently, Ant Lingguang has begun beta testing long-term task hosting, while ByteDance and Alibaba are also advancing similar products.
