Beating AI News Flash: Ant Group's AI assistant Lingguang is internally testing a personal Agent feature on a small scale, moving closer to Meta Muse. The new version adds a "My Life" page, focusing on long-term memory and proactive task execution. Users can have it continuously monitor product prices, follow up on travel plans, and manage vaccination reminders, proactively notifying users when there are changes.
This upgrade also supports connecting to external apps and smart devices. Cyber Zen Mind demonstrated that Lingguang connected to 13 devices at home by installing an open-source Mijia interface. He asked Lingguang to generate a home device manual, and then successfully called a Xiaomi printer to complete printing. The new version can also connect to services such as DingTalk through Skill and MCP (a protocol for connecting external tools).
Related features began preparations about half a year ago, underwent multiple rounds of iteration during that period, and are planned to be fully opened in October this year. Previously, Lingguang mainly provided features such as AI conversation and one-sentence generation of small apps, and now it is beginning to upgrade toward a personal intelligent agent that continuously handles tasks for users.
