BlockBeats news, October 9th - On-chain analyst Specter posted that recently there have been multiple reports on X and Reddit of Ledger user wallets being compromised. After tracking the related theft addresses, it was found that the funds came from hundreds of victim wallets, involving multiple mainstream blockchains including Ethereum, Tron, and Bitcoin, with cumulative losses exceeding $86 million.
Currently, the analyst has disclosed multiple addresses involved in the case, but the cause of the attack, the specific number of affected individuals, and whether Ledger has security vulnerabilities have not yet been confirmed. At this stage, the information mainly comes from on-chain tracking and community reports, and still requires further verification.
