Sector pullback prompts storage giant to exit at breakeven, unwinding over $63.7 million in Nvidia and storage long positions.

BlockBeats news, October 9th, according to TradingBeats monitoring, the storage smart money (0xc8b5) that had been continuously tracked previously concentrated on clearing three long positions in Nvidia, SanDisk, and SK Hynix during the overnight session, with a total closing transaction of approximately $63.7119 million. Currently, there are no positions left, but no withdrawal has been made yet.

This withdrawal occurred during the pullback of AI hardware-related contracts. During the same period, Nvidia, SanDisk, and SK Hynix (SKHX) contracts fell by approximately 1.86%, 3.70%, and 3.84% respectively in 24 hours, while Micron dropped by approximately 3.16%. On the news front, high oil prices and US Treasury yields, as well as concerns over AI infrastructure financing costs, continued to weigh on sentiment in the tech and semiconductor sectors.

This round of liquidation included approximately $31.8144 million in Nvidia long positions, $19.7988 million in SanDisk long positions, and $12.0987 million in SK Hynix long positions, with all three positions fully exited.

These three positions previously had a total unrealized profit of approximately $2.065 million. Today's final closing realized a trading profit of approximately $123,300, giving back about $1.9417 million, accounting for approximately 94% of the previous unrealized profit.
