Senior Iranian official: No US-Iran talks on nuclear program; US recognition of uranium enrichment right is Tehran's red line.

BlockBeats news, October 7 — A senior Iranian official told Reuters that no negotiations have taken place between Iran and the United States regarding Tehran's nuclear program. There are differences between the U.S. ideas on Iran's nuclear program and Iran's demands. The official said the United States must first meet Tehran's conditions before nuclear issues can be discussed. Iran will never give up its right to uranium enrichment, but the details of enrichment can be discussed later. The official stated that U.S. recognition of Iran's right to uranium enrichment is Tehran's red line. The official also described U.S. Vice President Vance's remarks on Iran's nuclear program as the U.S. side's "ideas and demands."
