The "garbage L2s" are being phased out, and Ethereum's value capture logic is expected to return.

BlockBeats news, October 7th, crypto analyst Ted posted that as a large number of "junk L2s" gradually exit the market, and projects such as Abstract and Blast announce shutdowns, his view on Ethereum has instead become more optimistic.

Ted believes the lesson from this trend is simple, that projects should build directly on the Ethereum mainnet, rather than continuously creating redundant chains designed to extract value from their own communities. He stated: "Stop creating unnecessary chains."
