BlockBeats news, October 7 — Coinbase plans to relaunch Coinbase Pro by the end of this year for trading spot, futures, perpetual contracts, options, and stocks, and has completed its integration with Deribit to create the Coinbase Global exchange. At the Token2049 conference in Singapore, it announced: "For the first time, we are connecting the U.S. and international derivatives markets into a single liquidity pool. With the integration complete, we will launch Deribit-powered options, spot margin, and unified portfolios in the coming weeks."
Eligible traders outside the United States will gain access to options trading in the coming weeks. U.S. retail traders are expected to gain access later this year. U.S. institutional clients will be able to trade Deribit options and perpetual futures through Coinbase Prime. Registration is now open, and options trading is expected to go live in the coming weeks.
